2022 PACES Thromboembolism Survey
Dear Pediatric and Congenital Electrophysiology Society (PACES) Members:
We are conducting a research study titled Current Survey of Practices of Pediatric and Adult-Congenital Electrophysiologists Regarding Prevention of Thromboembolism Related to Invasive Electrophysiology Studies. The purpose of this study is to determine variations in practices/protocols amongst adult and pediatric electrophysiologists regarding their use of pharmacological thromboembolic prophylaxis prior to, during, and after an invasive electrophysiology procedure. We are inviting you to take part in this study as you are part of the Pediatric and Congenital Electrophysiology Society. Participation in this study involves completing a one-time survey online regarding use of pharmacological agents to prevent thromboemboli prior to, during, and after an invasive electrophysiology study. This survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete. The primary objective is to survey pediatric and adult electrophysiologists to collect and report variations pre-procedural, intraprocedural, and post-procedural use of pharmacological

thromboembolism agents. We will keep the survey open for 45 days.
