PACES NEWSLETTER WINTER 2021
|
Message from the President
|
As we approach the end of 2021, please remember to embrace this season of hope and the promise of new beginnings. So much has happened in 2021, both positive and negative. As we look forward, I think we are all seeking the same things—gratitude, rest, connection and a brighter future.
|
I wish each and every one of you the happiest of holidays, and I hope you have plenty of peaceful time to spend with your family, friends and colleagues. Most of all, I wish you good health and a brighter 2022.

Given the ongoing issues with the COVID 19 pandemic, including but not limited to health and safety risks posed by travel, the Executive Committee has decided that most PACES meetings and events will again be virtual in 2022. This includes our annual Business, Education, Research and Quality Improvement meetings. We will hold one in person PACES Award Ceremony on Friday April 29, in the evening, in San Francisco, during the Heart Rhythm Society Annual Scientific Sessions 2022. Further details about the 2022 PACES Award Ceremony will be announced next year.

- SADS Foundation Research Grants – recipients TBD
- New for 2022 – PACES Allied Professional Lifetime Achievement Award- recipient TBD
In addition, some committees may choose to hold small, ad hoc in-person meetings during the Heart Rhythm Society Annual Scientific Sessions 2022.
