Leadless Pacemaker in Patients with Congenital Heart Disease

Paces_Logo
Dear PACES friends, please see details on a new PACES approved research study.

This observational retrospective study aims to provide the first large international
experience with the use of leadless pacemakers in patients with congenital heart disease
(CHD, children and adults). The main objectives are to characterize the current
population of patients with CHD implanted with a leadless pacemaker, to assess the rate
of early and late complications, and to assess the long-term performance of these devices
in this specific population. Participation in this study will be open to a large
international network of centers specialized in CHD via the joint Pediatric and
Congenital Electrophysiology Society (PACES)/International Society for Adult
Congenital Heart Disease (ISACHD) research committee. Inclusions are open until July
2023.

Interested investigators should contact Victor Waldmann victor.waldmann@gmail.com

The study is now listed as active on the PACES Website.

See you all in NOLA soon...

Best,
Pete Aziz
