The Department of Pediatrics, and Mattel Children’s Hospital of the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, seek a junior or mid-level faculty member with training and experience in invasive electrophysiology to join the Department of Pediatrics’ Division of Cardiology, on the Health Sciences Clinical Track. Applicants must be board certified in Pediatrics and board certified/eligible in Pediatric Cardiology. Rank will be commensurate with experience.

The successful candidate will join a vibrant group of 12 pediatric cardiologists, including specialists in advanced imaging, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, heart failure and transplant, fetal/perinatal cardiology, and adult congenital heart disease. The Division of Pediatric Cardiology works closely with a world-class congenital cardiac surgical team.

Applicants with advanced training/expertise in catheter ablation, cardiac implantable electronic device procedures and clinical electrophysiology are encouraged to apply. Duties include patient care, teaching of fellows/residents/medical students, and participation in clinical research and/or other scholarly endeavors that will lead to academic promotion. We welcome candidates whose experience in clinical care, teaching, research or community service has helped prepare them to contribute to our commitment to the principles of equity, inclusion and diversity.
Qualifications
M.D. or equivalent
Board certified in Pediatrics
Board certified/eligible in Pediatric Cardiology
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced training in electrophysiology
