Overview
The Electrophysiology APRN participates in the day to day care and management of patients with arrhythmias in the inpatient and outpatient settings. The EP APRN will be expected to take active part in the inpatient consultative EP services as well as clinic patients in the outpatient setting. The EP APRN will also be expected to interrogated and interpret cardiac implantable electronic devices. The Electrophysiology APRN will also be active in coordinating care of perioperative patients to ensure seamless transition of their care.
· Participation in and management of the Pediatric Arrhythmia Clinic in collaboration with the electrophysiologists.
· Perioperative oversight and coordination of care of patients undergoing electrophysiological procedures.
· Inpatient electrophysiology consultation services in collaboration with electrophysiology attending.
· Assistance in the management of the acutely ill electrophysiologically compromised patient.
· Actively participates in quality assurance projects and data to track patient outcomes.
· Community outreach projects to promote growth and awareness of electrophysiology services provided.
· Collaborates with electrophysiology attending in providing educational opportunities to nursing staff, medical trainees, and the community.

Qualifications
One of the following: Licensed RN - Kansas, Registered Nurse Multistate License Kansas required upon hire
One of the following: Licensed RN - MO, Registered Nurse Multistate License Missouri required upon hire
RN Compact license for all states besides KS and MO
Starting Pay
Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $45.84, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

Remote Work/Work from Home
This position is not eligible work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
