Arrhythmias in Athlete Document

As you know, HRS is coming out with an Arrhythmias in Athlete Document. This document applies to both adult and pediatric athletes. Along with Jack Salerno , I (Maully) am representing PACES on the writing committee and Susan is representing AHA. Susan and I have specifically worked on WPW recommendations which may be considered for all patients with WPW and a structurally normal heart, irrespective of athletic participation. This section on the document is an important change from the 2012 HRS/PACES Asymptomatic WPW Expert Consensus Statement. The document draft is open to public comments, and it is important to notify the PACES membership to carefully read the document and voice their comments and disagreements via public comments for the writing committee prior to publication. I am hoping to give folks a chance to provide early feedback which can be acted upon prior to print.
