Pacemaker Dependent Survey

Paces_Logo
Dear PACES friends, please see details on a new PACES approved research survey from Rob Whitehill and Jessica Posey.

Patients deemed pacemaker dependent remain a challenge to manage, and each institution represented by PACES membership no doubt has tragic stories to tell of a patient lost due to a device complication in this setting. Please consider participating in the following short survey meant to evaluate for a standard definition of “pacemaker dependency” and assess practice variation of the clinical impact of such designation on the patient’s future recommended cardiac devices.

Of note:
-No individual patient data is requested.
-Anonymized, though optional fields for email and institution are included at the end of the survey if results of the survey are of interest to the participant.
-Multiple responses per institution are accepted.
The study has been reviewed by our local IRB and a determination of Not Human Research applied. The survey results will be housed through the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Redcap database. Analysis will be performed on the results using descriptive or other methods as able.
