Statement from the PACES Training Program Directors (PACES-TPD) Committee
The PACES-Training Program Directors (PACES-TPD) are excited to train the future of our field in Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) Electrophysiology! The ACGME does not currently accredit this training pathway, however, a national standard for training has been created and these advanced fellowships are accepted as the standard of care for new ACHD electrophysiologists. There are only a few fellowship training programs specifically focused on ACHD EP Fellowship Training. As such, there is no central application or "match" program available and the ACHD EP Fellowship Programs do not participate in the PACES-TPD Common Offer Notification process.
