PACES Study - Vancouver Palpitation Score
Many of you have heard us discussing a research project which aims to determine if certain questions are associated with an arrhythmic cause for palpitations. We have developed a set of questions in consultation with many pediatric EPs. There is nothing required out of standard care: the questions are standard clinical care and the primary outcome is whether there is an arrhythmia diagnosis confirmed at 1 year of follow-up. We are looking for as many centers as possible to join in order to be able to test the tool properly. There are no funds available but we are willing to help with ethics applications and data sharing.
